The primary purpose of WVGTA is to maximize West Virginia’s potential in the group travel marketplace. The organization does this by co-operatively promoting and coordinating group travel. WVGTA and its members, working with the West Virginia Division of Tourism and thousands of tourism businesses throughout the state, strives to have a significant impact on the group tour industry in West Virginia.
